Sterile Wipe wipers are available in several substrates, both dry and pre-wetted. These wipers are made from 2 types of fabric:
1- Nonwoven hydroentangled 55% cellulose and 45% polyester. This fabric combines the highly absorbent properties of a natural fiber with the cleanliness and strength of a synthetic fiber. It is particle counts & extractable levels .
2- Polyester fabric is made with hi-strength continuous filament polyester yarn in a double knit, no run interlock pattern.
2 above wipers are pre-wetted with isopropyl alcohol/deionized water solutions filtered to 0.3 μm. The wipers are packaged in resealable flex packs, flip top bins and canisters.
Both types can be sterilized by Gamma Irradiated Sterile thru Cobalt 60 processing.
