PVA sponge is hydrophilic with an average porosity of 85% – 95%. This delivers an exceptionally high volume and speed of absorption. Elasticity and tensile strength properties help provide durability and allow the material to last much longer than other materials even under the most difficult conditions.

PVA sponge can be used safely with most chemicals including acids, bases and organic solvents in the pH range of 2 – 12. Heat resistant to 80 degrees C (wet), and 120 degrees C (dry).
